# "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected" from updating a plugin?!

 * I updated 2 plugins. One of them network publisher. After it was ‘successfully
   updated’
    I get this:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘ in /home/content/p/i/x/pixelstud/html/
   wp-content/plugins/network-publisher/networkpub.php on line 1890
 * Now my site [http://www.pixelstud.com](http://www.pixelstud.com) and when I login
   to wordpress it
    says the same thing!
 * What did do?! How do I fix it?! EEEEEEK!

 * Use either ftp or a ‘File Manager’ from your hosting service to delete the folder
   wp-content/plugins/network-publisher.
