 * I have just installed wordpress and am trying to install and activate a number
   of plugins, however I am getting the same error (although different line quoted
   for different plugin) – an example is – Parse error: syntax error, unexpected
   T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /hermes/bosweb/
   web212/b2127/sl.estrella/public_html/dev/wp-content/plugins/mailz/classes/http.
   class.php on line 70
 * Plugins I have tried so far are: ads easy, gtranslate, mailz, active trail, contact
   form 7 and numerous others.
 * I have successfully been able to install and activate : Reusable Contents and
   Jetpack by WordPress.com
 * I am thinking it must be something to do with the installation of WP and not 
   the individual plugins but I am very new to this and need some help please.
