# Parse Error Unexpected T_VARIABLE in wp_config ????

 * Dear Forum members,
 * I moved to a new HOST and decided to export my database and import it back into
   MySQL on the new HOST. Manually created a sub-domain. Moved the files over. Made
   sure all the settings were right in the wp_config file. Now when I try and run
   the blog I get the following error:
 * Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /mnt/Target01/332200/332272/
   blog.xxxxx.com/web/content/wp-config.php on line 10
 * I have replaced the actual website name with xxxxx.
 * Any help is greatly appreciated.

 * BTW the line that is giving the error reads:
 * $table_prefix = ‘wp_’;
 * Now if I comment this line out, the error simply moves along to the next line
   etc etc..

 * What’s on the line _before_ that?
 * Check the line that contains your hostname:
 * `define('DB_HOST', 'localhost'); `
 * Make sure the quote marks are there and that there is a semi-colon at the end
   of the line.

 * OK whilst I was checking the host name as indicated by Les, I noticed that a ‘;’
   was missing at the end of the line.
 * All is well now.
