Parse escaped string when showing in UI?

Hi, first off, thank you for the plugin, and I really appreciate your effort toward the community.

I have a problem with the plugin. I have special characters in some fields, but your plugin is showing them as escaped strings. I understand that it is a security measure to escape special characters before storing them in a database. But could you please parse them back when they show up in the UI?
