# Parser Error when accessing the install.php file :-?

 * Hello… I have installed my test site at [http://jndcg.com/wptest/](http://jndcg.com/wptest/)
 * upon accessing the [http://jndcg.com/wptest/wp-admin/install.php](http://jndcg.com/wptest/wp-admin/install.php)
   files i am receiving the following parser error :
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’ in /homepages/35/d242097458/htdocs/
   wptest/wp-includes/user.php on line 509
 * Of course, i have checked the file and am now attempting to uninstall everything
   just to reinstall it to try again… but I have no clue y this error is occurring.
