I am trying to turn off the cookie setting, but when I click the toggle to turn it off, then click Save Changes, it doesn’t hold. It is still turned on.

The same thing is happening for the Compatibility Mode option. It won’t turn off.

I have several users who are having problems accessing the page content. They enter the password and then the page just spins but never loads. I was trying to test to see if turning off the cookies or compatibility mode would resolve the issue?

I am using the Password protection mode, and WPBakery.

    Hey @letsdewitt, @tomnjoy,

as mentioned in the other ticket, this should work fine now with today’s release (3.5).

I reverted the changes for auto-updating options and added a lot of bug fixes to that release to cover most (if not all) outstanding bugs.

    Best regards,
    Patrick

Hi Patrick. Thank you for the update. I updated the plugin, but now the pages aren’t requiring the password at all. ?? It just loads the page content, skipping the password warning and login completely. This

I think I figured out why it’s not working anymore… the option to password protect within WP Bakery is no longer there. All of my passwords I had set up to protect rows of content are gone. I sincerely hope I can get those back, because I had set up MANY pages of password protected content.

So now how do I password protect a row of content in WP Bakery? Is there a way to get this to work like it did before the last update?

    Hey @tomnjoy,

that’s true, I removed the deprecated row protection which is replaced with areas now. But no worries, I build a feature plugin for those who have used the module before.

Can you send a short mail to [email protected] so I can get in contact with you directly and share the link with you?

    Thanks,
    Patrick
