Hi, can you carry out the following.
Disable all of your other plugins. Then check to see if the password reset button appears. If this does not work, can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Seventeen.
If the above does not help, can you disable and delete this plugin. Then install a fresh new copy. For safety purposes, can you create a backup before carrying the above troubleshooting steps.
Let me know if the password reset button shows up again.
Thank you
Thanks for that response. The first two procedures did not help. So I’ll try deleting the plugin. Can you tell me what I should backup? Is it the whole database?
Hi, you can backup the database or do a full site backup.
This is not really needed because no data or settings are lost when you reinstall the plugin. However I usually encourage people to create a backup as a precaution 😉
Kind regards
I did the final step of deleting and restoring the plugin, but it still does not work.
I have recently moved from http to https. Could there be a code that is still pointing to an old address?
Can you advise how I might locate that code?
Hi, you might like to try the following plugin Easy HTTPS Redirection.
Let me know how you go.
Regards
Yes, I already have that plug-in activated.
Did you test one of WordPress default themes? I have tested this feature and the submit button appears in my testing site.
Regards
Yes, I tested the page using the default theme and the button still did not appear.
