Past feed populating

Hi there,

I have been scouring the forum and google to figure this out to no avail. I have set up a feed in the plugin. It works and displays via the shortcode. It shows past entries to the limit I set. When I try to set up feed to posts and try to fetch feeds I get ‘There were no new feed items to add.’ I see that it says ‘new’, is there any way for it to grab old (past) entries. The reason I ask is that the feeds that are getting pulled for the site don’t get new entries on a regular basis. Is there anyway to do a backlog import?

edit: I have tested a few other RSS feeds (wired mag, the verge ect.) and they pull older entries than today’s date. It is weird that the shortcode does it but the feed to posts doesn’t.
