Perhaps, it is possible to take something like https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/image-elevator/ and make it so, if a logged in user wanted to reply on a bbpress topic with an image, they could copy that image to clipboard and when they press CTRL + V it would auto upload and paste inline into the comment field.
