 * Hi
   I’m currently on 9.2.4 but due to some reason I can’t update to latest version..
   Is there any other way to be safe from this recently announced vulnerability
   for 8.1 or newer versions?Thanks

 * Hi [@jerry0000](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jerry0000/),
 * I understand why this is confusing, especially with the recent security announcement
   and the version numbers involved, and I want to help clarify how this applies
   to your situation.
 * Between WooCommerce 9.2.4 and the current release, 10.4.3, there have been roughly
   55 version releases. With a gap that large, it is possible that some fixes and
   improvements introduced in more recent versions do not fully apply to 9.2.4 in
   the same way. While targeted security patches were issued, being this far behind
   still means you are not running the most up to date and fully supported version
   of WooCommerce.
 * For that reason, we strongly recommend updating to the latest stable version,
   WooCommerce 10.4.3. This ensures you are fully covered by current security fixes
   and also benefit from the stability, compatibility, and performance improvements
   shipped across those many releases. You can review the full release history here
   to see how much has changed over time: [https://developer.woocommerce.com/releases/](https://developer.woocommerce.com/releases/)
 * If you are unable to update via the dashboard, this guide outlines the supported
   alternative update methods, including manual updates and host assisted options:

 * If you can share what is preventing the update on your site, we are happy to
   help you work through that and get you safely up to date.
