 * Hi, I have a blog with lot of items behind some pages.
   Like this: **Home/Page01/
   Page02/Blog**The BlogPage shows all the items. Till here the breadcrumbs are
   good and clickable.
 * When I go to an BlogItem the breadcrumbs shows:
   **Home >> Blog >> BlogItem **
   So I miss the clickable **>> Page01 >> Page02 >>**between Home and Blog
 * I know how to manually put these in the breadcrumb title area of the specific
   BlogItems but these aren’t clickable.
 * How can I show the full path with clickable breadcrumbs?
   Hope you can show me
   a solution.
 * Many thanks in advance!
   Roland

 * Hello Maybellyne, thanks for the quick response.
 * I created this dummy demo: [https://studioonschuld.nl/page-01/ ](https://studioonschuld.nl/page-01/ )

   When you click on all submenu items I hope you see what I mean how breadcrumbs
   shows.
 * The post **Blog Item 01** is under the full menu path this:
   Home > Page-01 >
   Page-02 > Blog > Blog Item 01
 * The breadcrumb shows on the post **Blog Item 01**
   Home > Blog > Blog Item 01
 * The same is for **Blog**. This is under the full menu path:
   Home > Page-01 >
   Page-02 > Blog
 * And is shows:
   Home > Blog
 * Thanks again,
   Roland

 * Hello Roland,
 * Here’s what I understand from the menu hierarchy:
    - Page 01 – a parent page
       * Page 02 – a child page of Page 01
       * Blog – category archive page
          - Blog Item 01 – a post
 * You seem to mix up navigation menu items and breadcrumbs trail. These two are
   not exactly related. Your breadcrumbs are usually generated based on the site
   structure, while menu items are a list of links on your site. These few resources
   will help the differentiation:
    - [Make a great website menu for your users and for SEO](https://yoast.com/seo-website-menu/)
    - [What are breadcrumbs? Why are they important for SEO?](https://yoast.com/breadcrumbs-seo/)
 * For the post, _Blog Item 01_, the breadcrumbs path will not be generated based
   on the hierarchy of the menu items (_Home > Page 01 > Page 02 > Blog > Blog Item
   01_).
 * Instead, it will be based on your site structure – _Home > Blog > Blog Item 01_.
   _Blog Item 01_ is a post, so it’s added to the category archive page, _Blog_,
   and the _Blog_ is a page under _Home_ (the homepage or start of the site).
 * Items such as _Page 01_, _Page 02_ are not included in the path because they
   are pages and not connected to post, _Blog Item 01_. To help distinguish between
   WordPress Posts and Pages, you should find these articles very helpful:
