We are creating the site locally using MAMP. Had some issues and neither of us are experts in doing this, but we managed to get everything up and running again, except for one small snag.

Now the paths for the pages are linking as localhost/localhost/about instead of just localhost/about. In some instances it’s even localhost/localhost/localhost/pagename. Pages work here in some cases, but images are always broken. Removing extra ‘localhost’s reveals proper page.

Any idea what’s causing this? How to fix it? I’m not even sure what to search for to find the answer! 🙁

For future reference for folks, editing the general settings to have both WordPress Address and Site Address the same. For some reason mine had ‘localhost’ in the Site Address which was creating a new path.

Gotta love solving your own problems. 😉
