I just used old method with shortcode on the checkout page. And yes, correct, when I use Checkout blocks (Woocommerce blocks) the fake payment method doesn’t work. I’ve fixed the Payment Gateway issue and am currently working on fixing some other features that are not working as desired when blocks are used. * I’ll share here once the compatibility with blocks is complete and released.
