 * It may be plugin interference, but
   There were many payment processing errors
   and the success rate of Paid Memberships Pro was about 10%.I don’t know the cause,
   so I changed to Paid Membership Subsctiptions and the success rate became about
   90%.
 * I prefer Paid Memberships Pro for other parts.
   I would like you to improve the
   accuracy of the most important payment processing.

 * Hi [@sevenseconds777](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sevenseconds777/) ,
   thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.
 * We appreciate your feedback. This low success rate is possibly site-specific
   or payment gateway specific though. PMPro makes use of its own plugin on our
   own website and payments work as expected.
 * Which payment gateway were you using? Were there any errors from the gateway
   itself that you could see? Or was this a case of many users that started the
   checkout process but didn’t make payment and become a paying member?

 * Paid Memberships Pro
   Paid Membership Subscriptions
 * Both payments are Stripe.
 * Paid Memberships Pro mainly uses subscription payments.
   It didn’t seem like the
   request was received by Stripe.
 * There are no problems with Stripe’s settings or WebHook.
 * Paid Membership Subscriptions
 * I changed it to , and the payment was successful.
 * I am afraid to use Paid Memberships Pro from now on.
   I think it’s just this case.

 * Ultimately you should use the plugin that’s working best for you. I am curious
   why the “payment success rate” was so low with PMPro.
 * What report was showing you these errors? The Stripe dashboard? What were the
   specific errors shown? Can you find the failed payments in the “Events” or “Logs”
   section of Stripe and let us know what you find?
 * If you used Stripe Connect (linked through the button vs API keys), and you share
   with us the business name and URL, we might be able to find the failed payments
   on our end too to investigate.
 * A couple thoughts.
    1. Make sure you have Stripe webhooks set up per our instructions.
    2. Try the Stripe Checkout “accept payments offsite (Stripe Checkout)” option from
       the payment settings page.
    3. Look for those failed payments and share the error messages.
    4. Has the absolute/actual number of checkouts gone up since switching? It’s possible
       spammers had found your PMPro based site and spammed your checkout. This is
       also a problem, but a different one, and it would look like a whole lot of failed
       payments. You could try PMPro along with all of the spam protection suggestions
       we make. Just did a video on it here ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a20WiL3Q-KA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a20WiL3Q-KA))
       and we have a doc here ([https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/how-to-stop-spam/](https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/how-to-stop-spam/)).
    5. Can you let us know what country and currency you are operating in? Some countries
       have unique regulations that could interfere with things and we can test for
       that.
    6. What is your typical level pricing set up? Knowing this can help us test things
       too.

 * It’s ok, I’m sure it will be fine.
   It was a client site, so we changed to a different
   plugin to handle it.Other sites have not experienced any problems so far.
 * The high success rate of payment is the most important thing for a plugin like
   this.

 * Thank you for your feedback. If it happens again on another site for you, please
   let us know more about it based on Jason’s thoughts above – it would definitely
   help to look further into it.
