 * If a PDF invoice is generated it is completely unreadable.
 * It looks like this:

 * Obviously this is a problem. The text isn’t there! However my logo made it just
   fine.

 * Hi [@midipedalboards](https://wordpress.org/support/users/midipedalboards/)!
 * Interesting! Could you please try highlighting the content of the PDF to see
   if the texts are really there and it’s an issue with the font color?
 * Also, have you maybe changed the “Invoice PDF Template”? See screenshot link:
   [https://snipboard.io/FNzleV.jpg](https://snipboard.io/FNzleV.jpg)
 * If you’ve customized this and followed this [article](https://kb.jetpackcrm.com/knowledge-base/templating-how-to-change-templates-pdfs-portal-emails/),
   could you please check if the text color is set to white on that template file?
 * Thank you!

 * I’m unable to highlight any thing in the pdf.
 * I’ve not customized the Invoice PDF template as I’m just learning to use the
   crm. All I did was upload the logo in the settings.
 * Here’s my setting for the invoice pdf template

 * So test server 1 running php 8.1.0 fast/cgi pdf’s are rendering text as expected.
 * server 2 running php 8.1.9 fast/cgi pdf invoices have no text.

 * Hi [@midipedalboards](https://wordpress.org/support/users/midipedalboards/)!
 * Thanks for sharing your findings! I did check this on my site with server running
   php 8.2.2, and the texts are displaying fine on the invoice pdf. Hmm.. I’ll check
   this with the team to see if they can replicate this issue.
 * In the meantime, would it be okay for you to have your site on php 8.1.0, if
   that works for you?
 * Thanks!

 * I just updates to php 8.2.0 and it’s working fine too. Dunno what the issue is
   with 8.1.x … but 8.2.0 working fine for me if you want to close this topic.

 * Hi [@midipedalboards](https://wordpress.org/support/users/midipedalboards/) ,
 * I just wanted to drop a note to mention that I ran into some issues with both
   8.1 and 8.2 while testing an unrelated issue.
 * Since you’re on 8.2, and IF you get a minute, would you try creating a quote,
   assign to a contact, then attempt to view that quote int he client portal? Are
   you able to accept the quote? (No worries if you can’t do this!)
 * What I ran into is that the ‘Accept’ button in the portal, on 8.1/2, would generate
   an error on click, although in the backend, the quote would be correctly accepted.
   Reloading the portal page would also show the quote had been successfully accepted.
 * So I suspect, even though it’s working for you in this instance, PHP 8.1+ may
   have some kinks in CRM.

 * I’ve setup several test sites. I have one setup I could give you credentials
   for to log in and see for yourself. It’s an absolutely disposable site so nothing
   to worry about loosing in it. Just let me know how to get login info to you.

 * Hi there, [@midipedalboards](https://wordpress.org/support/users/midipedalboards/),
 * We appreciate your offer to access your sites to poke around, but this would
   go beyond our scope of support.
 * Per our [support policy](https://kb.jetpackcrm.com/jetpackcrm-support-policy/),
   we assist in installing and setting up the CRM, technical questions about the
   CRM’s built-in features and functionality, and product bug fixes; we don’t access
   users’ sites unless they’re paid customers. Moreover, asking for login credentials
   is frequently the last resort also when dealing with a paid customer, so we refrain
   from doing it.
 * You’re welcome to test what my colleague Cena suggested with no obligations,
   and at your best convenience, since also you seem to have sort out the issue
   eventually.
 * Hope that’s clear and you understand where this comes from 🙂

 * My offer wasn’t based on getting support. Just trying to help you fix your product.
 * However, please understand that most won’t become paid customers if right out
   of the box it doesn’t work as advertised.
 * I’ll mark it “resolved”. Good luck.
