 * Can anyone recommend a plugin so that a VERY non-technical user can upload and
   link to PDFs in pages and posts? Some pages and posts may include multiple PDFs.
 * Thanks so much.

 * I don’t think you need any plugin for that.
    1. Upload the file (as you’d upload
   any file, e.g. an image) 2. Make a link to its location while writing the post
   or the Page. (You have tool to make links in the Write admin subpanel).
 * Which is the part you have difficulties with?

 * Thanks for the input. Although it seems very easy to us, manually making a link
   may be trouble for my client. I envisioned some type of plugin that would create
   a file upload form in write post/page and maybe include a field for the title
   of the link. Each uploaded file (PDF) would then be ‘magically’ added to the
   bottom of the post as an unordered list. I think Basecamp does something like
   this (if you have ever used it).

 * Agreed, I would love to see a plugin that did this as well. Halfway through building
   a site, I’ve realised there’s no easy way for the client to upload pdfs! Uh-oh!
 * A plugin at [http://www.wysiwygpro.com/wordpress.htm](http://www.wysiwygpro.com/wordpress.htm)
   claims to handle PDF/Doc uploads, although you have to pay for it.
 * I think you must be able to extend the TinyMCE wysiwyg interface to handle PDFs,
   so I’m going to search for some info on this…

 * Has anyone had any more luck with this?

 * You can upload pdf’s via the inline uploader. I had a problem when using the “
   send to editor” menu in the uploader, but I was able to drag and drop the pdf
   into the page or post to create a link to it.
