 * Is this plugin asynchronous? I had to remove it because it was adding a couple
   of seconds to my load time.

 * The only thing you can make asynchronous is loading of JavaScript and this plugin
   does not make use of any JavaScript at all.
 * How did you measure the 2 seconds?
