# Performance drop

 * In v3.0.3, a strange line of code has appeared that always resets wp update checking
   transient. It makes WP check for plugin updates on every admin page that causes
   performance drop.

 * Can you please check and remove it?

 * Please go to wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/controllers/wdt_functions.php and
   delete this line:
 * set_site_transient(‘update_plugins’, null);

 * Of course, we already fixed it, and when the new update rolls out, the fix will
   be included.
