 * I have a problem with my main slider on the site.
 * On Chrome, Safari etc its perfect.
 * But on Firefox the slider isnt really smooth.
 * How can I fix it? Saw this on an earlier post with a elementor problem, but the
   css solution didnt fixed it for me.
 * Thanks!

 * Hi [@felixzoerb](https://wordpress.org/support/users/felixzoerb/)!
 * I checked out your website in Firefox, but I don’t see the problem. What is the
   version number of your Firefox? Also please tell me what is the operation system
   of the computer you are using!

 * I’m using Firefox Quantum 69.0 (64-Bit) and mac os mojave (10.14.6)
 * The slider is very rough and the transitions are not smooth. I am surprised that
   you can not see it. the customer as well as others who tested it, have confirmed
   my view. Hope you can help

 * Okey, in Mac I can see the problem. You are currently using quite big images
   and transitioning this big contents could be problematic for browsers. Please
   try to use the Optimize images option:
    [https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1163-slider-settings-optimize](https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1163-slider-settings-optimize)
   and also turn on the “Custom background image size” and just for a test, try
   to add some smaller value, like 1200*500px size. If that would make the transition
   better, you could try to use a better image size, like 1920*750px.
 * Firefox also commonly has issues with blurring, so you could also try to remove
   the Blur effect from the background images:
    [https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1295-slide-settings-background#image-tab](https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1295-slide-settings-background#image-tab)
   because it could be, that this effect makes it too heavy for the transition to
   go smoothly.
 * If none of these help, please send me an export of your slider:

 * Thanks for your fast help!
    Tested the optimize image option and the disabled
   blur, now its smooth! i think i should do the blur directly on the images.
 * have a nice day!
