 * Hi,
 * I have a permalink as follows:
    [https://www.mydomain.com/aaaa/bbbb](https://www.mydomain.com/aaaa/bbbb)
 * Google is trying to access [https://www.mydomain.com/aaaa/](https://www.mydomain.com/aaaa/)
   and throws 403 Access Denied error (Nginx web server).
 * Actually, there is no such folder as /aaaa/.
 * I’ve searched google number of times but can’t seem to find a fix.
    Any help
   is appreciated.
 * Thanks,
    Sanjay

 * I’m not sure if I understand your question.
 * As far as 403 error goes, it’s forbidden error, which means that your browser
   isn’t able to load the scripts up because your server isn’t allowing it. This
   is a hard one to solve. Because anything could be blocking the server.
 * Most likely this is a server permissions/ownership issue.
 * Also, check your .htaccess files for anything strange. Make sure your server
   settings are not overriding the .htaccess file.
 * If none of the troubleshooting steps help resolve the issue, try a full [Manual Upgrade](http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update),
   to make sure all the WordPress files are there and correct.
 * Make sure to backup everything (including database) before doing any action,
   in case.

    – I’m using Nginx web
   server so there is no .htaccess. – Its not a /aaaa/ is not a real folder, its
   not a permissions issue.
 * To better organize my web pages & posts, I’ve created folder “LIKE” layout in
   my permalinks. but Google considers them folders and tried to access the folder
   level files which aren’t there.
 * I’m sure anyone who is using WP and has created permalinks such as [http://www.domain.com/aaaa/bbbb](http://www.domain.com/aaaa/bbbb)
   will be facing this issue.
 * It would be great if they can share how they fixed this issue.
 * Thanks,
    Sanjay
