# Permalink: customizable url?

 * Here is my site:
    [http://www.v*rsionitradott*.it](http://www.v*rsionitradott*.it)(*
   = e)
 * As you can see there is Categories menu that i renamed as “Versioni”.
 * My site using Permalinks and i set
    /versioni/%postname%/ and the urls become
   like this: /versioni/category/postname/
 * Then i tried to set this as permalink:
    /%category%/%postname%/ but i get urls
   like this: /category/postname/
 * I would like to get urls like this:
    /versioni/postname
 * is it possible?

 * Try to put the “versioni” in the Catgeory field, not in the permalink structure.

 * Sorry, I was writing this from memory… it is “Category Base” – just look around
   in your permalinks settings page 🙂
