    you are having the problem in permalink 404 error i have found the
   solution you must go through it :
 * 1. go to you apache folder in you xamp .

   3. <img src=”[http://cdn.wpbeginner.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/rewrite.png”&gt](http://cdn.wpbeginner.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/rewrite.png”&gt);
   4.After doing this your custom permalink structures should work immediately. **
   else  localdisk url: wamp\bin\apache\Apache2.2.17\conf check both file : 1.httpd.
   conf 2.httpd.conf.build #LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so Simply
   just remove of the pound sign in front of it. So it looks like this: LoadModule
   rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
 * After doing this your custom permalink structures should work immediately.
