I have been working on my first site and ran into a permalink issue where I am getting the 404 error for three out of four posts. I changed the permalink structure to /% postname%/ and proceeded to work on my pages and all of the sudden those three pages are not working properly. * I went in and changed the permalink back to the default setting, saved my changes, and then changed it back to the permalink structure I want to use hoping that would fix the issue and no luck. * Can anyone shed some light on this problem for me? I am at a loss for what to do and work has come to a screeching halt! Help! * Thank you! I would say that you’re having problems with 404’s because you only used /%postname%/; I’ve seen in the past where that would cause conflicts that resulted in 404’s. (which obviously did not work well) * I just tried the other common settings available, day and name, month and name, numeric, and those all work fine. Should I just go with one of those? * Once again, forgive me. You can use whichever you like the best including a custom structure.
