# Permalink Issue

 * hi everyone,
    I have just started learning to use wordpress and am in the process
   of making a website for my cafe (www.madcoffeeco.com).
 * I am experiencing some trouble with my permalinks.
    Under ‘Jobs’ section of my
   website, there are two links: one for shift supervisor position and another for
   barista position. When I click on ‘Learn More’ under barista, I am directed to
   [http://www.madcoffeeco.com/jobs/barista](http://www.madcoffeeco.com/jobs/barista).
   But when I click on ‘Learn More’ under shift supervisor, then I am directed to
   [http://www.madcoffeeco.com/shift-supervisor](http://www.madcoffeeco.com/shift-supervisor).
 * The type of permalink structure I want to have for my website is [http://www.madcoffeeco.com/jobs/job-title](http://www.madcoffeeco.com/jobs/job-title).
 * I am puzzled as to why one page has it right while the other doesn’t. I believe
   I made the two webpages in identical manner. I made both pages to be “children”
   of the ‘Jobs” page. When I try to change the permalinks manually by typing “/
   jobs/shift-supervisor”, it automatically corrects itself to “/jobsshift-supervisor”
   without the forward slash.
 * By the way, my permalink structure under settings is currently set as ‘custom’
   at [http://madcoffeeco.com/%category%/%postname%/](http://madcoffeeco.com/%category%/%postname%/)
 * Would anyone on this forum be kind enough to shed light on the issue that I am
   experiencing? Thanks all in advance for your inputs.
