I have had issues with a plugin that WordPress installs by default called “Relative URLs”. Don’t know why WordPress does that because that plugin has been deprecated. Once I deactivated it, everything started working properly.
Thank you, @tonyromero. But I don’t have “Relative URLs” though.

Hey there @playpause!
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems.
First, I would definitely take a run through our Testing for Conflicts guide and see if that yields any plugins not playing well with one another.
You can also try to update your permalinks in Settings → Permalinks. One more question, have you made an changes to your .htaccess file?
Take care,
Ed 🙂
Hi Ed! (@erishel)
Thank you for your reply.
I’ve checked my .htaccess and tried to update it (although it’s the same thing).
The permalink issue is still not fixed.
I still think I might be blind-sided or missing out something. It’s frustrating that I cannot do a simple troubleshoot.
Thank you for help thus far!

Have you tried deactivating plugins and temporarily switching themes? If this is a live site, you could try a service like poopy.life to recreate the environment — the service gives you free WordPress installs for testing and whatnot.
