# Permalink not forwarding correctly

 * So I have a page that currently uses the permalink function and goes to the correct
   redirect page. But when my website does maintenance, I want to change that redirect
   to another page. For some reason, no matter what link I put into the permalink,
   it only redirects to the original page.
 * I tried deleting the page (still redirects), creating a new one, deleting any
   duplicates (if any), looking on my FTP to make sure there wasn’t another redirect
   on there.
 * Any ideas as to why this page is still redirecting to the original page even 
   though I’ve changed it?
