# Permalink problem?

 * My product pages respond to two different permalinks.
 * The correct permalink is [https://nootrologist.com.au/shop/l-theanine/](https://nootrologist.com.au/shop/l-theanine/)
 * But even if I type in [https://nootrologist.com.au/l-theanine/](https://nootrologist.com.au/l-theanine/)
   it will redirect to [https://nootrologist.com.au/shop/l-theanine/](https://nootrologist.com.au/shop/l-theanine/)
 * Is that normal? Could it be causing problems for my visitors?

 * Normal.. it sees “/l-theanine/” at the end and looks in the wp_posts table for
   a match in the post_name title most likely.
 * My /about/ page is shown even when I do /blah/this/that/about/
