# Permalink Redirection Issue

 * Hi, I have trouble with my permalink settings. I’ve tried to change my permalink
   settings from “plain” to “post name”. After I do so, apparently when I clicked
   the button to redirect to my another page, it cannot be loaded and it kept redirecting
   back to my homepage. Kindly please assist me on this matter. Thank you.

 * Did the “plain” work?
 * If it did work then try reading [Using_Permalinks ](https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-permalinks/)
   before setting a custom permalink structure again.
