# Permalink remove subcategory

 * I want to have the following permalink for my products:
    /product/%product_cat%–
   > but without the sub-category.
 * So /product/main-category/productname instead of /product/main-category/sub-category/
   productname.
 * I’ve been searching and searching, but can’t find the answer. Is there any way
   to remove the subcategory from the woocommerce product page?
