# Permalink Settings

 * Hello guys!
 * After i migrate from one server to another, i can only set the permalink to plain
   setting.
 * Whenever i try to change to other custom setting, it doesn’t work.
    I always 
   see the “ERROR 404 – PAGE NOT FOUND” message.
 * I am using Dokan plug-ins for multi vendor for that Product permalinks need to
   be set to custom base.
 * Please help to figure out permalink to other settings. Thank you.

 * Which hosting service are you using?
 * In a few hosting services, I have seen cases where changes to the .htaccess file
   won’t take effect immediately, but only after a while.
 * Ask your host about .htaccess files.

 * Hi Samuel I am using ResellerClub. I tried to replace the same .htaccess that
   used in previous server. When i replace like that the entire site went 404 error.
