# Permalink Stink

 * My server is Netfirms and I cannot change my permalinks to be pretty.
 * Here is my server software…
    SERVER_SOFTWARE=Apache/1.3.34 (Unix) mod_fastcgi/
   2.4.2 mod_perl/1.26
 * When I change the structure of my permalinks and click on a post the page refreshes
   with the changed permalink in the address bar but the page refreshes and remains
   the main blog page…not the individual post. Any help would be appreciated.

 * Do a search here for your host – and you’ll see the “nice” permalinks never worked
   on that host’s servers. Run away from them.
