# Permalink will now work…

 * Hi,
 * I have installed WordPress 4.8 with WooCommerce 3.0.8 and some other needed plugins.
   I try to set custom permalink. I set the permalink settings to: Common Settings/
   Custom Structure – Product permalinks/Shop base with category or Common Settings/
   Custom Structure – Product permalinks/Custom base (/product-category/sample-product).
   But when I will save it, it comes back to default. I can try to save it as many
   times I will but still the same result. Each times after save it comes to default.
 * Please can you help me.

 * It will revert to default if invalid. Ensure the bases are unique – remember 
   you cannot remove bases.

 * Thanks. I now where I make first mistake. I have changed to this settings and
   it works, but I have not correct link.
 * I have it now: [http://www.grand-tech.eu/2/product/waterproof_cases/middle_cases/slug/](http://www.grand-tech.eu/2/product/waterproof_cases/middle_cases/slug/)
 * and I will have it: [http://www.grand-tech.eu/2/product/waterproof_cases/middle_cases/small-case-dc-171305x](http://www.grand-tech.eu/2/product/waterproof_cases/middle_cases/small-case-dc-171305x)
 * or better will be if it can be as a web page with .html.
 * Please can you help me how to correct it?
