# Permalink Yet Again

 * Sorry for bring up another permalink problem. I helped a friend set up her blog,
   and permalink worked fine. But just now when I visited it again, it was giving
   me an error:
 * >  Not Found
   >  The requested URL /archives/2005/05/06/my-blog-title/ was not found
   > on this server.
   > Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an 
   > ErrorDocument to handle the request.
 * This is how permalink is set up:
 * >  /archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
 * And also, I have no problem writing to .htaccess. Any ideas?

 * I don’t think so. You’ll probably have to ask her hosting provider.
