 * I have alot of 404 errors in google webmaster tools and the url is like this
   **
   [http://www.mydomain.com/2009/12/05/name-of-post-here](http://www.mydomain.com/2009/12/05/name-of-post-here)**
 * and the new permaliks are like this
 * **[http://www.mydomain.com/category/name-of-post-here](http://www.mydomain.com/category/name-of-post-here)**
 * Is there a way I can redirect old permalinks to their new locations. Maybe with
   htaccess ?

 * 2. Have you tried looking for a redirection plugin?
