Permalinks In 5.2.1

Hi all,

I am having issues with the Permalinks on my blog

For now it has been set to its default with index.php?p=9 etc. I have tried using the other 2 default values but
evrey time i try to click on the link, WordPress returns a 404 error. I have done the php.ini settings for

cgi.fix_pathinfo 1 1
cgi.force_redirect 0 0

and no change. I am using IIS 6.0 and PHP 5.2.1 and WordPress 2.0.6. I have heard of issues with this before and just was wondering if there was any way around it as my permalinks are not exactly search engine friendly at the moment.

I would also like to say what a great bit of kit I have only just started to use it and it is fantastic.
