# permalinks problem

 * okay well I am trying to make a page called “Forum” but the permalink keeps changing
   itself to “site.com/forum-4” and I don’t want the -4 at the end, how do I fix
   this? thank you

 * Check the Trash section in both the Posts and Pages section in your admin panel
   and make sure that you don’t have anything titled “Forum” there. If you do, empty
   the trash and try creating the page again.
