 * Hi, I’ve been looking options to keep media consistently playing when the user
navigates pages on my site however it seems to be a bit of a rabbit whole when
it comes to solutions here. I’m just wondering if theres any sure fire way to
do this in Seriously Simple Podcasting?
 * I really like the plugin but my client is keen to have a sticky persistent player
when an episode is playing, so I think it might be a hard sell to keep the plugin.

 * On this note of persistent players, I found the MP3 jPlayer plugin is capable
of this functionality. By default it picks up the wordpress media player and
converts it into its own player, however with Seriously Simple Podcasting it
doesnt detect the player which is a bit confusing. Is there a way to stop SSP
from overriding the default player with its own?

 * Are you trying this with the HTML5 player or the Compact Player? with the compact
player it should work fine, but please let us know.
 * And yes definitely noted about the persistent player. Really cool thing we’re
   looking at down the road.

 * Actually trying with the compact player. Obviously Im doing something wrong.
Ive managed to mcguyver it by disabling the simple podcast player embed option
so it no longer places in my posts. Then Ive found if I use the shortcode [audio
mp3] in a post contents it grabs the simple podcast uploaded file and embeds
it with the jplayer on the frontend. Noe im just trying to figure out how to
inject that shortcode into all my posts so the client doesnt do it manually.
 * This way I can keep seriously simple podcast active on the site. Honestly its
been so annoying working with a plugin like mp3 jplayer that hasnt been supported
   in over 2 years.

    Could I send
through my site with login details to show you where Im trying to get the jplayer
to replace the compact player? I’m at a loss why it doesnt work for SSP since
it replaces every other source of media on the site with the jplayer.
