 * Hi guys,
 * I am using BuddyPress for my social media site. The site is also being converted
   into a envide app. Android and iOS.
 * In the site, the users have the option to fill out their search preferences.
   Gender, age, location etc. (Search filter)
 * This works fine and populates the search results correctly.
 * What I would like to happen, is for those search results to remain indefinitely
   until the customer updates them.
 * What is currently happening is that the search results are being cleared when
   the site/app is closed.
 * I have ‘persistent search’ set to yes so I do not know if that isn’t working
   correctly or there is another solution?
 * I would be grateful to hear from people that have experienced this same issue
   and even more grateful to hear from people with solutions.
 * Either way, please let me know if you need any more information.
 * Thanks

 * Hi uglyboy,
 * The ‘persistent search’ option makes the search persistent across page loads,
   but inside the same browser session. Unfortunately at this time there is no way
   to make the search persistent across browser sessions.
 * As a workaround, your users could bookmark their search results page, and recall
   the bookmarked page when reopening their browser. To allow that, make sure you
   set “Form Method = GET” in your search form, see:

 * Hi Andrea,
 * Thank you for your reply.
 * Is website has been converted into an app and is acting as so so there is no
   way to ‘bookmark’ the page.
 * With that said, is there any customisation that can be done to achieve the same
   result?
 * I can pay.
 * Thanks

 * In fact, maybe we can create a button.
 * When the user clicks it, it bookmarks and ‘remembers’ the search options?
 * Will that work?

 * Hi uglyboy,
 * Thank you for your offer, but I’m unable to accept it now, as my family is taking
   up all my available time. Sorry!
