# Pharma Hack

 * My site has fallen victim to the Pharma Hack. I went through both of these great
   articles.

 * I found a couple files that fit the description and removed them however I can’t
   seem to find in the wp_options table anything the fits their descriptions or 
   even looks suspicious. So since the problem is still occurring I figure something
   is still in the database. Any thoughts to help?
 * Additionally I noticed a bunch of rows in the wp_options table for plugins I 
   have long ago deleted. I’ve gone through and deleted things I was sure of but
   still why do these still exist if the plugin has been removed?

 * That’s absolutely correct! Plugins should clean up after themselves properly.
   Some do not. I’ve had to go through and manually clean many times.
