I cannot *START* or create a Gallery that points to my Google Photos interface… from either an Elementor page/post or a Classic WordPress page/post.

I’ve built a simple new website to share travel blogs and photos from Google Photo albums. For both Elementor and Classic WordPress posts, the Photonic interface offers me a shell of a WordPress frame and points to my BlueHost Staging vs Production page. I can navigate to other sections of my WordPress interface, but there is no functionality for Photonic gallery creation.

When I go to MEDIA, there is a Photonic menu choice… but the only option is the standard photo interface (choose existing Media/photos or download new).

I have read instructions on the Aquoid site, reviewed (limited) additional information on the web, read through this portal… I know where the information is regarding the multiple layouts, lightbox interfaces, etc., but I cannot find the STARTING POINT for where to enter the manual shortcode, since the interface that comes up in Elementor and Classic WordPress does not align with what is described in the documentation. (I tried using the shortcode field in Elementor and it didn’t do anything — it sat idle.)

    Configuration:
Elementor Pro was recently reinstalled a week ago (v 3.7.7)
I reinstalled the Photonic Plugin today, just in case (v 2.8.3)
Google Photos is authenticated with Photonic.
SSL certs were completed today to get Google Authentication to work.
    I have no Cache-related plugins.
    WordPress is v6.0.2

Screen captures confirming the Google Photos authentication and showing the Photonic interface are posted to this web page: https://exploring2connect.com/for-photonic-help-request/

I appreciate your help. I know this is user error, but I’ve spent hours on this and can’t figure out where I’ve gone wrong. Thank you…

One more thing… I did try to create the staging site from the Photonic interface, thinking maybe that was part of the workflow, even though it wasn’t mentioned in the “Obsessively Comprehensive Documentation”… (?? I’m new at this!) It churned for 15-20 minutes until I terminated the process. Just adding for completeness.

If you have BlueHost, you likely have a plugin that they install. That plugin is buggy and hijacks Photonic links (see this: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/photonic-plugin-redirects-to-wordpress-admin-panel/ and https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/setting-up-a-gallery-redirects-to-staging-site-config/). If you have that plugin, you will need to disable it.

Not sure if I followed this. However, if the first suggestion solves your problem, this might be moot.

Sayontan — you are the king… Thank you. Yep, all I did was deactivate the Blue Host plugin. Everything works like a CHARM on Elementor now. Completely intuitive, as designed. I am SO HAPPY. I’ll turn it back on after I create these — I bet it only affects the interface when you want to build the Gallery. If I find that it corrupts anything when I turn it back on, I’ll circle back to this thread. (I’ll mark this as resolved after I’ve had a chance to verify that it doesn’t cause any harm to existing Photonic galleries when you turn it back on.)

For completeness for others who may face this — the Blue Host plugin description says “This plugin integrates your WordPress site with the Bluehost control panel, including performance, security, and update features.”
