 * I am trying to install a version of WP that will run with PHP 5.1.2.
 * I cannot upgrade PHP so I need to know the correct version of WP that is compatible
   with PHP 5.1.2 and where to download it from please.

 * Per WordPress 3.2 the minimum requirements have changed for PHP 5.2.4 and MySQL
   5.0.

 * You could run WordPress 3.1.4 from the release archive (scroll down), but it’s
   so easy for the host to update to PHP 5.2.4+ that you may want to consider a 
   different host provider.

 * Obligatory note of caution: 3.3.1 is supported and if there are any more patches
   it will be against the current version.
 * If you have to use 3.1.4 that’s understandable, but you may run into issues that
   the answer really is “upgrade to 3.3.1”.
