PHP 7.4 or 8.0 – compatibility issues

    Hi,

    I have a site which is currently running PHP version 7.0.27
    WordPress v5.7.2 and “Twenty Eleven” theme v3.7

    My hosting company has offered an upgrade plan with PHP v7.4 or v8.0.

    Could you please advise whether the “Classic Editor” plugin (version 1.6) has compatibility issues with PHP v7.4 or v8.0?

    The plugin itself is definitely compatible with PHP 7.4 and afaik also with 8.0. The old (classic) Edit Post screen in WordPress should be compatible with both 7.4 and 8.0.
