 * I’ve been attempting to update to PHP 8.0 but I keep getting an error, which
   I’ve narrowed down to the wp-includes/init.php file – it keeps attempting to
   use the deprecated create_function. Since this is a core WP file and not something
   plugin-related, and I’m currently updated to WP 6.2.2, I’m at a loss. Any ideas
   on how to fix this?

 * Hey,
 * this is not a WordPress Core file but rather some malware.
 * Your site has been infected. Manually cleaning a infected site takes incredible
   skills so its best for you to restore a backup if you have one or contact a professional.
 * If you want to do it youreself:
 * Carefully follow [this guide](https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-my-site-was-hacked/).
   When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of [the recommended security measures](https://wordpress.org/support/article/hardening-wordpress/)
   and [start backing up your site](https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-backups/).
