# PHP 8

 * If I switch the server to PHP 8, I get the following error message when this 
   plugin is active.
 * >  There was a critical error on your website.
   > Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.
 * It seems that this plugin is not yet suitable for PHP 8.
 * Required PHP version: 5.3 to 7.4.

 * We have just released an update which addresses the issue mentioned in the link
   I provided in my previous response.
 * This should resolve the known incompatibility with PHP8 due to the DOMElement
   changes introduces by the PHP core team.

 * Wordpress tells me that there is still an error with the plugin when I enable
   PHP 8.
