# PHP 8 compatible?

 * I’m getting the following error when this plugin is activated on PHP 8.0:
 * TypeError thrown
    abs(): Argument #1 ($num) must be of type int|float, string
   given
 * Is this plugin compatible with PHP 8?

 * Yes, the plugin should be compatible with PHP8, but not fully with PHP8.1 at 
   the time of writing (we are working on that).
 * With that in mind, we haven’t bumped across this specific issue just yet.
    Would
   you happen to know precisely which PHP version you are using?
 * The other possibility is that this is a conflict.
    The simplest way to find out
