 * I have not had the time to install PHP 8 and investigate what MLA changes are
   required. I hope to begin that process in the next few weeks. If you know of 
   any specific issues, please post an update here and I will address them as soon
   as I can.

 * I have updated my system to PHP 8.0.9 and run a series of tests on the current
   MLA version 2.97. There was one “deprecated” warning in the MLA Insert Fixit 
   example plugin, but I can find no problems with the MLA core code.
 * I believe MLA v2.97 to be compatible with PHP 8.
 * I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you find any issue 
   with MLA running under PHP 8. I will work quickly to address any issues you find.
