 * I would like to put in the header.php, the count of testimonials at any given
   time. All I need is the basic php, and I can go from there.
 * Thanks!

 * Hey Sheri!
 * Are you trying to set the amount of testimonials that are displayed, or are you
   just trying to count the total number of testimonials that exist in the system?
 * Best,
    Richard

 * Preferably just the testimonials that are displayed, but I’ll take whatever you
   can give me.
 * Thanks!

 * Hey Sheri!
 * The most recent version of the plugin, 1.21, includes functionality that supports
   similar features to what you are asking about, here.
 * Grab the latest update and check out the Outputting a Count of your Testimonials
   instructions.
 * If that doesn’t do it for you, dive into this rabbit hole:

 * If you want to filter by Category, you’ll have to start doing more research and
   will need to build this using WP_Query.
 * All the best,
    Richard
