PHP code won’t run, even with plugin

    Anyone might know why basic php code won’t run on a WP page? I installed two different plugins, Exec-PHP and PHP Execution, and neither can get the code to work.

    The first plugin has worked for me on other sites, so I am thinking that there is something in the page. Could the host be preventing this from running?

    I am a blockhead. Writing code is always better in html mode, versus visual mode, right?

    anyone knows if there are other plugin’s to use when running php code on wp pages?
    i’ve tried phpexe and php execution
