 * Thank you for reaching out!
    Full disclosure, this is a bit odd since the stackoverflow
   thread you are pointing to is 18 months old.
 * I checked with the team and I believe the fix was indeed rolled out quite some
   time ago.
    Long story short, this could be due to any plugin triggering errors
   on the rewrite rules.
 * Would you happen to have some logs to share to make sure?
