I followed the instructions for using ng gallery to show multiple items and get this above the inserted gallery (the paypal buttons etc work just fine):

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$show_piclens in /var/www/farvehytten/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-simple-paypal-shopping-cart/lib/gallery-wp-cart.php on line 28

    [nggallery id=5 template=”wp-cart”]

I have only a few items for sale at a time, so a real shopping solution is a bit over the top for me. This little plugin is otherwise perfect for me! 🙂

Newly installed/updated plugins and WP. I can’t see any reference to piclens in the settings of either plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Can’t you see my images? There is an error code next to the orange scarf and there is button code under the other items instead of a blue button showing (like there is a blue button showing under the orange scarf)

Yes I can see the error next to the image. And I can also see the shortcode underneath the other images.

What PHP version is your server running?

    Regards

I’m trying to figure out what “variable: i”, whether it’s related to some setting in ng gallery.

It seems odd that the button shows in some places and not in others, as well as the error message.

We have the latest php version as the server is newly installed before setting up the twin websites.

I haven’t done anything to customize my template.

That value is suppose to come from the nextgen plugin. They have made a lot of changes to how their templates work so I no longer have the proper knowledge for that plugin.

We have discontinued the nextgen gallery integration actually. We feel its better for us to handle the selling of photos using a plugin like the following:

I’m selling mostly physical objects though and the wp gallery function is clunky for making links to individual product pages with descriptions of the items.

If you are no longer updating your code to support ng, obviously I’ll just have to start from scratch with something else or only have the payment button on individual pages, not the main category page. Thank you for your time.

Yes – it appears the code

    [nggallery id=5 template=”wp-cart” ]

created the error on line 39

and using the nextgen button to add the gallery instead makes the button appear as code instead of an actual working button as in the tutorial I followed and which seemed to work just last week! I guess I picked the wrong weekend to build new websites…. 😉

Well it appears I’ve fixed the issue and I thought I’d leave it here for other users.

I finally found the one difference between my twin sites, and you were right about it being a nextgen issue.

In the Thumnail settings “Number of columns to display ” the value must be 0. On the site of my errors, I had it set to 3.

    Hi,

Are you referring to the settings in NextGen gallery plugin?

Does this mean that the integration between NextGen gallery and our plugin still works?

Yes, I’m referring to the Nextgen gallery settings.

The integration works if I set columns to zero under Thumbnail settings.

The downside to this is, that on SOME pages, I get full width rows of thumbnails (my monitor shows 3-4, while on others they stack really weirdly.

Obviously this is not your problem.

If I turn on number of columns, either in the NG settings or locally in the [nggallery id=5 template=”wp-cart” ] code, then the error about line 39 comes back.

I’ve reset my NextGen galleries to have no template chosen, instead of the _caption that I had before.

And if I add the template, wp cart buttons don’t work inside the NG thumbnail boxes.

I kindly suggest that you report this to NextGen developers. If you do, let us know what they say. I am curious to know.

    Thank you

Will do. I will continue to use your nice and simple setup in other figurations until then and consider the bigger plugins if I ever actually make some sales. (build first, marketing later)
